#WednesdayWisdom - Start by profiling your best existing customers! Your top customer is your best model to find like customers. What industry are they from? Region? What are their psycho-graphic characteristics, as well as buying patterns, creditworthiness, and purchase history. Do you know their SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) code?

Once you have a complete understanding of who you already do business with, it will make it easier to build a targeted lead list based on that information to find and target new customers.
